| What to do if you have uncovered a violation |
|
If you uncover a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy, you are required to report the violation using the Online Notification System available through Campus Connect. At your discretion, you may also choose to issue a sanction in connection with that violation. The Online Notification System may be accessed as follows: Once logged in to Campus Connect, select "For Instructors" and then "Academic Integrity Violations" on the left-side panel, and follow the prompts. |
| Choice of sanction |
| Possible sanctions include, but are not limited to, assigning a rewrite, issuing a reduced or failing score on an assignment, or failing the student in the course. As part of the report generated by the Online Notification System, the required written notification will automatically be sent to inform the student that a violation has occurred, the nature of that violation and what, if any, sanction has resulted from it. |
| Filing a violation notice |
|
Please login to Campus Connect and click on the "For Instructors" link on the left side column. There will be an "Academic Integrity Violation" link on the list. If you click on that link, you will find instructions for the rest of the filing process.
